In line with the ITU’s global efforts to protect children online, the BtCIRT started collaborating with ITU and UNICEF Bhutan to adapt the ITU’s COP guidelines considering the context of Bhutan. A series of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on child online protection with the five key stakeholder groups – children, parents, educators, industry representatives, and policymakers have also been completed. The inputs from the COP taskforce (consisting of representatives from key stakeholders) and the FGDs has been integrated in the guidelines to reflect the COP context and needs of Bhutan.
